Expansion of the project portfolio into the B2B segment

SMN GROUP is intensively developing its B2B segment in southern Poland — from Wrocław to Kraków. The company is currently in talks with a dozen housing communities and a much larger group of business clients. The 2026 plan calls for doubling the company's B2B operational footprint.

Current scope of activity

SMN GROUP's B2B activities currently cover the southern Polish corridor stretching from Wrocław through Upper Silesia and Lesser Poland to Kraków. The region is characterised by one of the highest densities of SME businesses in Poland and a significant number of housing communities interested in energy modernisation.

The scope of activity covers two main segments:

Housing communities — talks underway with a dozen communities regarding comprehensive energy modernisation of buildings. These cover rooftop photovoltaics, energy storage, heat pumps and energy management systems for common areas.

B2B clients (companies) — a significantly larger group of potential clients including manufacturing, services and trade enterprises. Inquiries primarily concern commercial photovoltaics for buildings of 500 m² and above, integration with energy storage, and EMS systems enabling cost optimisation.

2026 expansion plan

The company aims to double its B2B operational footprint by the end of 2026. The plan includes:

  • Operational team expansion — both directly within SMN GROUP and through the operational brand Sales Makers, which is responsible for sales structures and B2B client acquisition.
  • Geographic diversification — from the current southern Poland corridor towards Greater Poland, Mazovia and the eastern voivodeships.
  • Service portfolio expansion — greater emphasis on integrated projects covering all four of SMN GROUP's technological areas (PV + energy storage + heat pumps + EMS) in a single offer package.

Why the B2B segment

The decision to intensify B2B activities is based on three market observations:

  1. Maturity of Polish enterprises — more and more companies are treating renewable energy investments not as image expenses, but as elements of cost strategy and operational hedging against energy price volatility.
  2. Support programmes — businesses can take advantage of numerous forms of financing, including EU funds, regional operational programmes and leasing mechanisms. SMN GROUP supports clients in selecting and obtaining appropriate financing.
  3. Project scale — the average size of B2B projects (50-500 kWp in the PV segment) allows for effective utilisation of the company's technical competence and integration with other technologies.

Housing communities — a special area

Housing communities (and housing cooperatives — SBM) represent a segment requiring a specific approach: a longer decision-making process, coordination with the property manager and a separate financing model. SMN GROUP has developed a dedicated cooperation path in this area, including support in convening community meetings, preparing economic analyses for residents and coordination with the property manager.
